This is the room everyone hangs out in. It is open to the kitchen and eat-in area. With 17 foot high ceilings, this soaring room can handle some bold color and lots of furniture!

I went through a phase where I wanted a modern americana color scheme. Then I realized I have a love/hate relationship with red and could not live with it everyday in my family room.
I changed course by just swapping out the red for some lovely greens. With the change the midwest summer color scheme was born.
