We recently upgraded our living room lighting with two matching lamps on the sofa table and they’ve changed our lives!
We had okay lighting before, but it was mismatched. This pair of lamps gives off the perfect even lighting across our entire 100+ inch sofa. Since the sofa table divides our living room from the kitchen we get the added bonus of brightening both spaces.

I hope you have an amazing pair of lamps that illuminate your life. And if you do, I bet you’ve wondered…
What in the world do I put between these lamps?
I hear that question a lot. Whether the lamps are on a sofa table, entry table, dresser, or buffet the question is: How do you decorate the space between the lamps?
I filmed a short video with the answer. Actually, three answers. Watch the video below to see my three favorite ways to style the decor between a pair of lamps.
So which way is your favorite? Like I said in the video, I love the version with a stack of books (especially a fun, colorful stack), but I think there’s a place for all three options in your home.

Hope you have fun styling between your lamps! Don’t forget your cheat sheet for a quick reminder of the styling tips you just learned.
This is great advice. I actually downloaded the cheat sheet first and thought about my sofa table which is in a quick transition for spring. I realized it is just too many things. For example, a tall white tree with some old fashioned valentines simply tucked inside could be a lamp. The tall wooden candle holder and 3×6 pillar is tall but narrow. A red berry ball on a few books does balance but oh no. I have another tall item of visual weight of the middle item. I shove it on. I shove a heart shaped frame and…… I see that if I wanted more, possibly getting my white tray out would have corralled my items and eliminated some. So I feel like your tutorial also works even just on long narrow spaces as well. Makes me want to fix it right now! Thanks again for training my eye.
