Chandeliers! Sick of the same old 5 or 6 I keep seeing. Chunky, modern, crystal, unique, anything that gets us mid-westerners out of the box!

Thanks, Amanda. I will add chandeliers to the list for favorite sources posts in 2014. Having replaced all the ones in our house…could not wait to get rid of them…I understand the challenge of finding good ones!

Thanks, Jackie! I love your blog. I have been reading since your Reader Redesign in YHL! This is a great list. Could you please post your thoughts on curtains? My husband and I have a contract on a house in the city and it has no window treatments, so we will be busy!

I would also love to see your source list for chandeliers and also ceiling fans. I love a beautiful chandelier, but often times the south mandates ceiling fans. Thanks!

I LOVE this resource list – thank you! I have a question: any online resources or ideas abt where we could get used lights, brackets etc. beyond ebay, CL, local thrift shops? Thanks!

Jay, Check your area for local consignment stores and see if they carry home goods. Also, check to see if you have a Habitat for Humanity Re-Store.
