Sourcing furniture and decor has become more than just a way to pay the bills for me. It has become a hobby…verging on obsession. I pride myself on the online source list I have amassed. During 2013 I wrote the 7 favorite sources posts below, where collectively I spilled over 40 of my favorite online sources!
1. My Top 15 Online Sources for Area Rugs
2. 19 Versatile Accent Pieces That Work in Almost Any Home
3. 45 Pendant Lights Under $250
4. 23 Fun and Functional Poufs
5. 8 of My Favorite Places to Shop for Affordable Accent Tables
6. My Top 15 Online Sources for Decorative Objects
7. 45 Gourgeous Gourd Lamps
This is only a sliver of my complete source list. Look forward to more favorite sources posts in 2014. If there is something in particular you would love me to share my sources for, let me know in the comments below.
Chandeliers! Sick of the same old 5 or 6 I keep seeing. Chunky, modern, crystal, unique, anything that gets us mid-westerners out of the box!
Thanks, Amanda. I will add chandeliers to the list for favorite sources posts in 2014. Having replaced all the ones in our house…could not wait to get rid of them…I understand the challenge of finding good ones!
Thanks, Jackie! I love your blog. I have been reading since your Reader Redesign in YHL! This is a great list. Could you please post your thoughts on curtains? My husband and I have a contract on a house in the city and it has no window treatments, so we will be busy!
this is awesome! your blog is really great!! Thanks for all the hard work you put into it for us, your readers/fans!
Happy New Year!!:)
Joey
I would also love to see your source list for chandeliers and also ceiling fans. I love a beautiful chandelier, but often times the south mandates ceiling fans. Thanks!
so many great resources! I already have too many tabs open on my computer!!
Thanks for sharing this Jackie. I love them all!! I would love to see source lists for ceiling fans as well.
I LOVE this resource list – thank you! I have a question: any online resources or ideas abt where we could get used lights, brackets etc. beyond ebay, CL, local thrift shops? Thanks!
Jay, Check your area for local consignment stores and see if they carry home goods. Also, check to see if you have a Habitat for Humanity Re-Store.
Thanks!
I need mirrors for the house we will be moving.
Sheila,
I am adding mirrors to my list. That is a good one!
