I prefer the double and triple variety gourd lamps. The more curves the better here! I also threw in a few genie, bubble, spindle, and turned lamps for good measure. I tried to include lots of colorful options, but sometimes classic white, metal, wood, or glass ones steal the show.
Here are my favorite sources for gourd lamps, featuring 45 of my favorite table lamps. The complete list of sources is below the graphic. And, if you prefer your gourd-y goodness on Pinterest, I also created a Gourd Lamp pin board!

JCPenney – JCP will surprise you with it’s online selection of lighting. Of course, they carry lots of traditional styles, but recently their lineup has been freshened with some colorful and modern options. Pictured: Blue Double Gourd Lamp. Red Double Gourd Lamp, Jonathan Adler Katie Bubble Lamp
Pottery Barn and PB Teen – For a great classic lamp, Pottery Barn is a no fail option. I also like to check out the lights at PBTeen…their lights are great for teens, or anyone who likes light. Pictured: Mercury Glass Table Lamp, Ceramic Table Lamp Base, Mod Lamp Base
Shades of Light – One of the most colorful selections of curvy lamps. The teal lamp with matching shade is what I dream about at night :) Pictured: Spindle Table Lamp, Modern Spindle Table Lamp Base, Pop Color Modern Ceramic Lamp
West Elm – The options here are more neutral finishes, but still have great, interesting silhouettes. Pictured: Recycled Glass Gourd Lamp, Turned Lamp, Abacus Mercury Glass Lamp
Lowes – If you need a great budget lamp, this is the place to go. They also have mix and match lampshades. I have the turquoise gourd lamp in my studio and the brushed steel one in my bedroom. Pictured: Brushed Steel Lamp Base, Blue Glass Lamp Base, Purple Glass Lamp Base
Target – The selection is lacking for true gourd lamps, but they have some great wood-look turned lamps (the selection is better online). Pictured: Faux Wood Turned Lamp, Yellow Ceramic Lamp Base, Turned Lamp with Seagrass Shade
Lulu & Georgia – No, you are not seeing double. Many of the gourd lamps at L&G come in a set of two, so keep that in mind when looking at the prices. And, for sure two gourd lamps are better than one. Pictured: Chartreuse Lamps Set of 2, Smoke Gourd Lamp, Cobalt Lamps Set of 2
Furbish – Great color selection here of double and triple gourd lamps with classic white shades. You can’t go wrong with any of these. Pictured: Gray Double Gourd Lamp, Midnight Double Gourd Lamp, Peacock Triple Gourd Lamp
Lamps Plus – Choosing three favorites was impossible, and choosing only six was nearly impossible. By far the largest selection I know of, and the most color options. Thanks to their color pop collection you can get a gourd lamp in your favorite Pantone or Sherwin Williams colors. Ballard Designs – These lamps fall into the understated beauty category. Nothing showy, but definitely elegant. Pictured: Madison Lamp, Susan Kasler Gourd Lamp, Seeded Glass Lamp
Horchow – They have a pretty big selection, too. It was tough to limit myself to just three choices, so I let price be my guide and tried to keep them in a reasonable range. Pictured: White Rippled Glass Lamp, Smoke Glass Lamp, Blue Glass Gourd Lamp
Layla Grace/Zinc Door – Love the modern shapes found here. They have several more options at higher price points, too. Pictured: Glass Ripple Lamp, Milk Glass Lamp, Jamie Young Aqua Gourd Lamp
Crate & Barrel – Another understated collection of sophisticated lamps. Simple curves and neutral colors reign here. Pictured: Clarity Smoke Lamp, Hampshire Lamp, Merie Lamp
Z Gallerie – The selection is small, but I think they have a couple showstoppers. Great silhouettes. Pictured: Mariposa Lamp, Sabrina Table Lamp
Room & Board – This one is pricey, but so good. Colorful porcelain with a walnut base…need I say more?! Pictured: KleinReid Gourd Lamp
Didn’t see the color or finish you like? Many of these lamps come in multiple colors. I just chose my favorites to showcase. If you are looking for a different color, just click through to the retailers site to see other options.
