My source list is like gold. It is my life line for my custom mood board service. I don’t regularly share source lists for my client mood boards, but I am not trying to be sneaky or secretive. A source list really doesn’t do anyone any good if they don’t know how to use it.
I have been trying to come up with a great way to share some of my favorite sources with you. Instead of dumping out my complete source list, I thought it would be much more useful to share what I source where. Depending on what I am sourcing, I have a short list of favorite sources. The best part is all my sources are approachable. No interior designer or by appointment showroom needed. These sources are all accessible in brick-and-mortar form and/or online.
I am starting the series with my favorite sources for accent tables, more specifically side tables (we’ll save coffee and console tables for other roundups). Accent tables are a great way to add personality to a space while increasing functionality. They can tuck in anywhere and provide the perfect place to set a drink, a favorite book, or a small plant.
The price range for a great accent table varies considerably. In the table below I share my favorite accent tables from my favorite sources. These sources are favorites because they all carry a wide range of accent tables at different price points. There are tables shown here ranging in price from $20 – $329. No matter your style or budget, there is an accent table here for you.
Ikea: Lindved Side Table ($20), Turquoise Rolling Cart ($50), Isala Side Table ($179)
Target: Green Metal Accent Table ($50), Iron and Wood Accent Table ($80), TOO by Blu Dot Trois Table ($90)
CB2: Formosa Tray Table ($50), Go Cart Yellow Rolling Table – CB2 $99, Dot Acacia Side Table-Stool ($199)
Wisteria: Moroccan Stool ($129), British Colonial Side Table ($265), Colonial Column Side Table ($329)
Crate & Barrel: To-Go Berry Folding Table ($27), Twist Side Table ($139), Ginger Salt Side Table ($299)
West Elm: Martini Side Table ($149), Carved Wood Side Table ($199), Box Frame Nesting Tables ($249)
Urban Outfitters: Metal Accordian Side Table – ($74), Hourglass Lacquer Side Table ($279), Faceted Wood Side Table ($298)
World Market: Metal Pedestal Table ($80), Preston 5-drawer Table ($140), Industrial Accent Table ($199)
Please tell me…would you like to see more Favorite Sources roundups? What should I roundup next?
And, what did I miss? Where is your favorite place to find accent tables?

I love this! And yes, would love to see more source lists. Lighting would be one of my first choices.
Loved this post! I’m looking for lighting, headboards, and sectionals right now for my new home.
I’d love to see posts on those.
Thanks!
More please!!!! Thank you for sharing!!!
Yes! This is such a fun topic! :)
Ooh, I would love to see a source list for lighting and for rugs!
Yes, Jackie…definitely keep those source lists coming!! I’d love to see sources for as much as you’re willing to share, from furniture to accessories and everything in between. I also like to check Z Gallerie & Chiasso for home items.
I would love to see more source roundups! I would appreciate a good roundup for rugs, especially budget friendly for large sizes :)
Vicki, Great idea. Big rugs at little prices are one of my favorite things to hunt down.
I love this series already!! And I second the request for rugs. I need a big rug and I can’t find the one. I usually go to Home Goods, but this time I need a 10′ x 14′ rug (I’ve never seen one that big at Home Goods)and I’m worried I might just need to bind carpet which is not what I want to do!
YES! I love your style and your source lists are awesome! Thank you for sharing!
I would REALLY love to see some source lists for random accessories – you know, the kind that bring character into a room that’s not your typical lamp/sofa/table…that’s what we’re struggling with right now at our house!
Thanks again for your fantastic posts, keep ’em coming!
Great idea, Rachel. I will add that to the list, too. I can try to do a roundup on where to find unique, sculptural, and one-of-a-kind accessories.
Yes please! Can’t wait to see what you come up with!
Love this idea!! It would be fun to see your picks for bar/counterstools… As I am currently in the market for some new ones.
Also… Question: what program do you use to create your mood/inspiration boards? They are beautiful!!
Thanks Steph. I will add stools to my list.
I use Photoshop Elements for all my image editing and mood board creation.
I’m passing this on to my daughter as she’s overwhelmed with the furnishing an entire house type thing. Your list is great!
Ohhh! How exciting! I actually just bought that middle Ikea table. Love! This is a great series. Rugs was definitely my first choice since I’ve been on the look out for almost a year for the perfect one. I am always curious about the curtains in your mood board. Are they just fabrics? Can I buy them somewhere? My windows need clothes.
Kara,
I will add curtains to the list. Most of the ones on my mood boards are curtain panels, but occasionally I recommend a fabric if my client can sew or do a no-sew project.
Wow! I LOVE this feature! Second the requests on curtains/rugs, and I’d love to see one on bedding. I’m stuck on choosing all three of these things to go with my existing (dark wood) bedroom furniture.
I love this series. Thank you for sharing. I would say that I really like your ability to find unique pieces at stores that are not so unique. I think that it takes talent to be able to do that.
Thanks Lisa!
Yes, please do more of this!! It’s perfect for those of us who just don’t know where to start. Thank you!
What a wonderful idea. I second the request for lighting (chandeliers, table lamps, etc.).. Maybe pillows and wall art. Sometimes I can stomach investing $ in the bigger pieces likes couches, chairs, rugs, etc. but hate the feeling of spending almost as much to accent the room with small wall art and accent pillows.
Love – love – love the idea. I recently stumble upon ur blog and became an instant fan. I would love to see round up on ur fav. Kitchen organization stuff!! Can’t wait to see rug round up as well!!

Wow! This was really well done and super helpful! The visual to help see cost was excellent. Thank you!
Yea! Thank you!!!
Love this series! Can’t wait to see more.
I love Home Goods for side tables – and just about everything else. I was just there the other day and was surprised at how many affordable side tables they had.
Brooke,
Agreed…HomeGoods is great. The only reason it did not make this roundup is because there is no online store and not everyone has a HomeGoods near them :(
Love these tables. How about a round up on Artwork or wall decor. Struggle with filling large wall space. It is always the last on list when completing a room. Thanks
Good idea Suzy. Big impact wall art is a good one. It can be so tough to fill those big blank walls.
I love this series and your blog (a recent pinterest find!) Would appreciate a series on art, especially the special, one of a kind, affordable kind.
