Valentine’s Day is less than a month away. If you are looking for a fun treat for young kids, try these mustache and lips suckers. These are cheap and easy. I got the idea from Family Circle and made them last year for all the boys and girls in my son’s preschool class.
I free-handed a fun mustache and some pouty lips on a piece of card stock. I cut them out to serve as a template. Then I traced them onto pink and black foam sheets with a permanent marker. I cut them out, cutting just inside the marker line. To finish it off, I used a 1/8″ hole punch to create a hole for the sucker. On the mustaches I made the hole towards the bottom of the ‘stache. On the lips I aimed for the center. I used address labels to print simple to/from tags. I folded the label in half around the sucker stick.
When the kids eat the suckers, they will sport their ‘staches and puckers :) These are a big hit for pre-schoolers!
